Hello there,

This is a slightly under exposed shot of my 20 month old Burlington Co. New Jersey easterns breeding. This is the second attempt. During the first try the female just simply wasn't having it, so I separated them, fed her heavily for a couple of weeks and tried again. Actually, it was the male who gave me the clue that she had begun cycling, as this normally voracious S.O.B. refused all food offerings and just paced his cage in an attempt to get next door. This time, as soon as I put them together he slid up to her, they entwined tails and started bumpin'uglies. Thanks for looking...perverts (LOL)!

Sorry...I had countless friends from the City while in the Corps and they all dogged out people from any part of New Jersey, whether it be the country or Jersey City, etc.!

Nice looking snakes...and you're welcome from us pervs. that looked - but speaking of perverts, what were you doing with your free hand while taking this shot?! LOL

Hey Bud,

They're about 3 feet right now, I just hope she's big enough to pass eggs....yikes! Actually, as long as they are fertile she should be o.k. I had 2 GA girls drop at 18 months last year that were no bigger. The only issues I've had so far with females of any size is with the occasional batch of slugs. They seem to have a rougher texture that is much more difficult to pass, or so it seems. So, let's hope for good eggs.

Also, this photo really does not represent the color of these two very well. The male still has some grey dorsally, but the female is really quite white, and that is really not showing through well at all in this pic. Oh well, the lights were dimmed for the romantic effect (LOL). This is an accurate shot of her last summer and she has actually gotten much brighter. Later.
