Which phase? Jungle, diamond, coastal, or iran jaya? They all are beautiful animals.

Most of them have the same tempermant, basically when they are small they are nippy, but calm down fast. I have had my JCP for a month and he is already fairly tame.

All of them are relatively easy to keep as long as you have the proper temps and humidity. They make excellent display snakes in an arboreal cage (I don't know about terrestrial setups) because they will sit on branches almost 24/7 when they full grown.

Depending on the bloodline, expect to pay between $100-200 for a Jungle Carpet. Normal is $125-150, but some of the Barker stock is priced higher because they have done several generations or breeding to get extremely beautiful snakes.

I got both of my jungles through Michael Jolliff. He does not breed them, but one of his friends does and both of mine are very nice. I know that Don Hamper, Jeff Favelle, and the guy from www.rainbowboas.com breed jungles also. I think that Darci Gibson also may, but I'm not sure.

I'm flattered but unforunately my pair of Jungles are '03s. So no I haven't breed any JCPs yet. Tim posted link to the two JPC sources I would recomend for top notch animals.

The two top breeders of jungles, that I am aware of are:

www.reptilicusreptiles.net

www.selectiveorigins.com

They have to largest groups of stellar jungles. There are other breeders with smaller collections but capable of producing similar quality offspring. Gary Johnston, Bob Futo, Don Hamper, and I'm forgetting a ton.
