Overfeeding? Help!!!

zooguy Apr 09, 2004 02:39 PM

My corn is about 20" long now. I am feeding him 2 large pinkies every Tuesday. He eats without hesitation, usually taking both pinkies within a few minutes. He is growing really fast. He just shed a few weeks ago and he's already going into another shed! I am worried that I might be overfeeding him. I know that if I overfeed him, it could shorten his life or really damage him. Should I be worried? Suggestions please!!!

I dont' think you can over feed a growing baby. I feed my amel corn 2-3 fuzzies a week. Sometimes she will eat 3 other times she will eat only 2. My ghost corn took his first adult mouse last week. He is about 36" now. I have read it's when they are adult length that you have to worry about overfeeding. I may cut back on my ghost since he is a bit on the fat side though to every 10-14 days.
