My little Herman is about four months old....I noticed today that his skin on his neck is dry and peeling. Is this normal? Do they shed? I soak him everyday for around 10 minutes or so. Does anybody know? I'm hoping it is just simple shedding and that he isn't deydrated?

Sometimes my Egyptian looks almost furry due to shedding. I try to let nature take its course but once in a while I have to get after him with the tweezers.
lol - thanks! I don't know how happy he would be if I took the tweezers to him! . But at least I know what I can do if he gets too bad.

They peel no problem, mine has shedded skin on his neck.
