? about bedding for a ball python

i heard some bedding is toxic to snakes but would it be ok if i used pine shavings as the bedding for my ball python or could that harm him? if someone could answer this ? for me it would be greatly appreciated! thank you

pine is bad. Only use aspen shavings, reptibark, cypress mulch, or lizard litter if you are using a shaved wood substrate.
