Wheat bran question

pepe15 Apr 09, 2004 06:17 PM

What type of bran do you use and where do you get it? I have heard from the grocery store but the only bran I know of is the cereal kind, is that it b/c the bran I have seen in pics looks different. Also, would it be ok to put a bran box in for two 2-3 month old dragons (in seperate tanks)? I have them on shelf liner now, but wanted to give them some kind of sleeping/digging box to see if they would like it.
Thanks

I got my bran from a horse feed store. 50 lb bag. I wouldn't use it for dragons that young. I used it for my adults and sub adults. 2-3 months is a little young. I'd stick to the shelf liner or paper towel for now. Wait till they're a little older for the bran.

figured it might be a bit young, even for just a play box type thing.
