Thanks for asking.Around 11PM that night I found him.I had even let my 16 month old son with a sixth sense for things he is not supposed to touch roam around the vacinity thinking maybe his little Naughtyman radar would help me discover JFK's where abouts. It was not until 4 hours after he went to bed that I found the senator. JFK had crawled behind the iron radiator (I have the old fashioned kind) and under a panel of carpet and was pressed up against the radiator. Luckily, I had just turned the heat on a half hour before, or my little front runner would have been sauteed. His shell was hot to the touch, but he jumped in the water in his tank, ate the remaining amount of food, bit Theresa, and then coasted over to his favorite plant to settle in for the evening.
Never again will the turtles leave the tank unattended. Lesson learned.
