Frosted Corns? (not flakes)

MelAncholy Jun 13, 2003 04:01 PM

Maybe someone here can help me. I find frosteds absolutely gorgeous and I was doing a bit of research on them and supposedly they are a cross between gray rats and corns. Also for some reason the few I can find for sale seem to be all albinos. Which leads me to my question. In the corn snake manuel (I believe written by Cathy Love) she talks about another strain of frosteds that are pure corns. Are these really around? If so does anyone know where I can find one? And last of all does anyone know why all the gray/corn hybrids are albino? I think the snake could be very attractive in other morphs. Thanks much!

I had a "frosted" corn, the grey x corn cross, and he wasn't amel at all. He was a strange sort of straw orange, quite nice actually. His name was Flake.
