Male Brooksi looking too thin....

Passport Apr 09, 2004 08:24 PM

My breeding 10yr old male is too thin. He was cooled down at the end of November and although breeding has only eaten two mice since. What to do? This is my first year breeding and I purchased him last fall at a reptile show. He is a fantastic animal and I am crazy about him. I sure don't want to lose him. Is there a trick to get him eating again?

It is hard to say if you have a problem without seeing a pic of your snake. Lots of males go off feed during breeding season and get a little thin. Also the older a snake gets I find they don't come out of there winter sleep in as good of a condition as they went in. Post a pic if you can.
