Nice pic of an Eastern King out in my yard

Keith Hillson Apr 09, 2004 11:01 PM

This is my male 2002 MD X NC Eastern. He is a great snake with his super clean crossbars and purplish/black ground color which doesnt show up well in this pic.

ive noticed that NC NJ combination seems to be really good. the NJ kings are known for their sharp white contrasting chains, and the NC animals seem to really run that Black/Blue/Purple color. sweet snake, keith!

Actually this one's Father was a wildcaught Calvert Co. Maryland male. Alhtough I think the NJ's and the Marylands are pretty similar. Below is a pic of this males Father. This animals belonged to Ted Thompson and he hatched out my male.

I talked my wife into going camping in the Shawnee Hills next week. Something like "No way Honey, it won't be that cold". Hoping to get some photos of some snakes, I'd like to see some cooperation from the weather - lol.
