I live in NJ and was wondering where in like a pond or lake can i find a musk turtle?Are they jsut basking with the painters?

lol, this is not going to help you but i would like to know also, I live in Long Island NY and have note been able to find any, but then again i was not trying to catch one, If you are interested you can find eastern muds up here and they are pretty easy to find, you can go to a muddy marsh by a bay or anywhere else and look aorund there.
