if you are going to use a bulb to heat them, make sure it is no larger than 10 watts. I tried to use s 15 watt bulb in my 10 gallon and it created temps up to 95. might wanna turn up the thermostat.

I use something similar but homemade for my nearly adult cresties (the babies are in a Rubbermaid). I make sure my guys can stay warm enough by providing a colored bulb several inches above the cage that warms the fake foliage near the top by just a few degrees, and they will definitely thermoregulate by getting on top of that foliage or going to the bottom of the opposite side of the cage. Because it is so well ventilated, heat won't be trapped in the enclosure as it would (to varying degrees) in a glass or plastic enclosure, so a 40W to 60W bulb should be fine as long as the distance from the cage is sufficient.

As far as furnishing, the enclosure has 4 artificial plants of various types attached on a diagonal from bottom left to top right of one wall and stems arranged to provide cover and pathways from the floor to the ceiling and to the climbing branches that criss-cross the cage.
