THREE YEAR OLD MALE(SUMATRAN)

biggworm Apr 10, 2004 03:04 AM

THIS IS MY FIRST SNAKE I EVER HAD.I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT A BLOOD WAS,I ONLY KNEW IT LOOKED KOOL.AND THAT I HAD TO HAVE HIM.I BOUGHT AND RESEARCHED AS MUCH INFO AS I COULD FIND ON BLOOD PYTHONS IN MY FIRST MONTH OF OWNING HIM.I WAS HOOKED.I WAS SO SUPRISED THAT ADULTS TURN BLOOD RED.I WAS MORE SUPRISED WHEN I FOUND OUT NOT ALL BLOODS TURN RED.I WAS WORRIED BECAUSE HE WAS A YELLOWISH,GOLDEN BROWN.THEN, JUST THIS YEAR THIS RED FLUSH STARTED KICKING IN OVERTIME.I HEARD IN THEIR FOURTH TO SIXTH YEAR THE RED TURNS DEEP.KOOL

Thats a good looking sumatran there, thats funny you got him not knowing about bloods.Did you know what was required for temps and humidity? Also I guess its true what they say bloods start showing their red at three years and intensify as they get older.I hope my male sumatran does this.

FYI, please don't use all caps. It seems as if you are yelling and it's kind of difficult to read as well.

Hey Big,
Nice going, how did you finally manage to figure it out, was it something I said, LOL! Well, I'm glad what ever it was, we can finally see your beautiful Bloods and share your enthusiasm. One thing, you should type in lower case letter when posting to a forum as the letters are not only easier for us to read, but also, it is polite internet etiquette.
