I got the call from my Trainer last night the My T-Bred Mare (in foal to a friesian) is starting to really show signs of getting ready to have that baby!! She told me she gives it a week to 2 weeks before the 11 month wait is over. It's down to the wire. So I wanted to know what you guys think it will be. It's been decided that the Foal's registered name will be "Tanion's Love" weather it's a colt or a filly. So What's Tanion's Love gonna be? Colt or filly? Vote now! We'll know very soon if you're right!

Friesians are the most beautiful horses in the world, and the TB cross is wonderful, I am so excited for you! How is your mare carrying the baby? In her flanks (up high) or a low sagging position? Our mares have always foaled colts when they carried high and fillies when they carried low. Strange but true. Also, is this your mares first foal? Low for a new mare may be high for an experience one whos stomach muscles have relaxed over the years. Anyways, that's how my vote goes - high, colt: low, filly.
