Eating habits.

I have a small problem, today i will go in my family and wont be back until tomorrow afternoon. What is bugging me is that i wont be here tonight to feed my baby gecko. Should i put some loose crix in the enclosure ? Or a small dish with some mealies ? He is about 4 inch long, is that too small for eating mealies ? Or can he spend on day without eating without too much problem ?

it probably can go the day without eating, but since he is so small leave a mealie dish..
