Lights out

So anyone have exsperience with lights going off when eggs are in the incubator? Anyone had eggs still hatch after the fact. Temps dropped 6-7degrees for 2-3hrs minimum. Any info would be great no opinions realy screwin up my day...

Hi

You could try to put pop bottles filled with the hotest water you can get into them to try and keep the heat up, you could try putting in heat packs or you could even get some rocks and put them in the microwave to heat them up and put those in the incubator. You would have to keep a close eye on the temp.'s. This is just a thought for you.

Lights are already back on and temperatures are stabalized. The lights went off in the middle of the night so the temperatured dropped when I was sleeping and then came back up to normal when I awoke. I know the lights were off for about 2-4hrs so my question is whats the chances of my eggs still being good??

if it went down to room temperature id estimate 74-75 (night time) i keep the eggs around 81-83 degrees.

I would say to leave them in there and give them a chance. How long have they been incubating?.

2 for about 10 days and 1 for 4 days...

My step-dad unpluged my cooker and the temp got down to 70 degrees for a bout 2 days 1 out of the 2 eggs in the cooker hatched and is going strong.
