Two Ghosts, Two Anerys, or one of each???

Sasheena Apr 10, 2004 11:53 AM

Here are my two '03 females. Below there is a debate about Ghost and Anery, so I took a recent picture... (in the sunlight, outside, this morning). I tried to get one with a nice background, on some pretty potato plants, etc. But unfortunately the only one that turned out crisp, clear, and true color, had a very busy background. Sorry bout that. But would still like to hear any thoughts about these two girls.

"You keep WHAT in your freezer?"
"Mice. And rats. If that bothers you, I can call them 'cows' instead."

Hera's an Anery...

Goes with my initial hunch based on your first picture, but it's the hatchling pics that give the best indication of ghost vs. anery. Nice snakes.

When I pulled them out of their different enclosures to take pictures, I was surprised at how light Hera had gotten. They are only just slightly different in looks when in direct sunlight. They are both awesome looking snakes. It helps that I have so few corns. Each one is different: Normal het motley (and looks hypo), Striped, Anery Striped which looks blue to me!, Anery, Ghost, Snow, Reverse Okeetee. Fun bunch of snakes! Like jewels
