Hey,

I know a lot of people on here have treated frogs for redleg successfully. I'm wondering if anyone can offer advice for successful treatments of this disease (besides the obvious taking the animal to the vet).

Thanks a bunch!

Kristen

After doing more research, I'm looking for infromation about treating a bacterial infection rather than red leg. If anyone has any advice, it would be appriciated.

Thanks
Kristen

I am not entirely sure, but to treat red leg you can use a diluted iodine solution or bactine diluted with water. I know you dont have red leg, but that too is a bacterial infection and those two treatmeants cure it. Place your frog in clean bottle water mixed with one of these treatmeants for 15 minutes, I am not positive this will work but it should.
