My big girl is starting to sound better..

fishkiller Apr 10, 2004 02:01 PM

not 100% but noticibly her hissing and breathing is much much better.I'm a little relieved now and she just finished shedding last night.I'm going to get her a couple nice fat rats now, she's got to be hungry.Well this is a good learning experience for me dealing with this RI, it still blows my mind with that regurging water incident that she wasn't weezing until that had happen, or it was just coincidence.I'll be posting more pics of her once she's 100% cured. Thanks to all for pulling for her and for all information. Later, Ethan

Hey Ethan,
Nice going with the big girl, I'm sure you're relieved. Also, Chiquita, is doing well, and is nice and fat, and Tank just finished shedding out today too, and shed some sperm plugs along with the shed, so there is no doubt about him being a male and producing the goods.

Yeah a big relief, didn't know what to expect as this is the first case of this.Hope Tank will take control of his woman, is it getting too late in the season or is it alright since your controling the climate.Well Happy Easter to you as well, talk to you guys later.

Hey,
I don't think that it is too late in the season, as these bloods are tuned in to what conditions we provide them in the captive setting or environment. I will try putting them together again as he was off feed for a little while and didn't seem too interested in the females at the time. However, after looking at the shed in his box and discovering the sperm plugs, this might be a good time to reintroduce him to the ladies. I'll keep you posted of any news in that domain. - Angel
