Jeff mentioned some email discussions he and i had a year or so ago. I suggested he post his ideas here, and i'm sure he will. He asked me to post a link here to some forum discussions that took place back then.

Shannon's post which appears seems to have started the discussion, but if you click on "show entire thread" you'll see links to all the related posts as well, so you can see more of the disucssion.

I'd like to say i didn't agree with much of what was said in some of those posts! But I also didn't understand some of it. So with this contribution, and jeff's posting his ideas anew, that discussion can continue.
