First time post, need first hand experience on morps...

Hello, I am considering getting one of these little guys. I want a blizzard lizard, but I want to clarify something before I shell out the money. I have done all the research like any responsible herper, but I need to know if I order a blizzard, will I get the solid white lizard with blue eyelashes(??) or will it possibly have yellow or some other colors? All the ones I see are exactly what I want, but photos are not always exactly like the speciman you will receive. I hear they also change contrast from bright white to a darker color? Is this true. Any info on these blizzards would be greatly appreciated.

well, most of the blizzards today are darker then when they first were introduced, my guess is you could end uyp with a solid whit blizzard(they change sometines to a darker gray color when stressed) or you can end up with a blizzard with yellow color, no guarantee

well...first thing I want to say is that no lizard has eyelashes...let alone blue ones...lol I don't know if that was a typo or what someone actually told you... Anyway...as far as color...its actually fairly uncommon for blizzards to be pure white...most do have some amount of yellow, brownish, or grey tinge to them. Your best way to get a bliz that's as white as possible would be to get one from a reputable breeder (I'd give you some recommendations...but I can't remember who's breeding them at the moment...lol). They also can change color quite drastically with mood or when they are stressed to much darker than normal.

Thats why i put the ?? after eyelashes. I think they're called ocular scales, but i didn't want to confuse anyone. thanx for the reply

lol...sorry about that...I wasn't sure what you meant! I think most leos have a bluish tint about the eye where you can somewhat see the eye through the skin

Hi

I have a pair of blizzards. My male is a very bright white while my female is much darker. The difference between them is quite amazing actually. You can hardly tell the female is a blizzard. I'm hoping Bronx's colour shows up in the hatchlings when i breed them
