Northern Pines Breeding...

Hello Gang!
Love the pics so many have provided, nice to see the diff pits. If I knew better how to work with my digital camera...well, hey, anyone wanna digital camera? cheap? LOL! Just teasing, I'm told I have to learn how to use the darn thing. Sure I can take pics, but, all that other nonsense, trying to get it to work here on kingsnake has been troublesome, or I'd share pics with you guys of my jani. Anyhow, my Northern Pines have bred. Though the interesting thing is my young male at first had NO interest in his fellow young lady friend. Well, the first week went by, and the older pair bred, several times... Second week I switched the males. So the older male thought he had died and gone to heaven, and got busy with his new girl, the younger female. The young male was never seen breeding with the older female, but the third week I switched partners again, and wow, that young male perked right up and got to work within and hour of the switch back to the young partner. I'm guessing the smells of the older male set him off? Or just slow in gettin going, I don't know. But I'm going to mark down the older male as the father of both clutches for now. And yesterday that young female laid six big beautiful eggs! And today she wolfed down two mice. Now just waiting on the older female to lay her pile of eggs I just know are inside her, as she is so swollen! I sure hope she lays a big pile, I've got a waiting list of orders to fill! Hope everyone else's breeding season is going well! Oh, and the pic is from last year. But still a cool pic!
