Just wanted to know everything there is to have the first mali. What are their requirements, etc. Calcium/D3 powder? Girlfriend works at PetsMart, where they found him after he disappeared for three months. He or she is very small had has not eaten consistantly since Dec or Jan! Thinking of putting him in a 5 gallon with 75 watt tight beam under a window for D3 synthesis, play sand, a hide and perch. Sound about right? Planning on putting him with a Bearded Dragon when he grows a little bit bigger. Does anyone have any care sheet type stuff?

hey,
first off, a 5 gallon is way too small for even a baby!!! they need atleast a 20gallon.

i wouldn't put it under the window...the glass with super heat the suns rays and probably kill your new pet.

please do not house your mali with a beardie, it is not a good idea to mix species. it sounds like you have good intention, but need to do alot of reading. definitely go to deerfernfarms.com if you find a mali to be too much work I am sure there would be plenty of people willing to try to get him back healthy. enough of this, go do some research.
