having a hard time finding out proper temps and housing requirements (cage size, if prefer climbing or are burrowers, etc) for these guys. Any info would be appreciated.

Maybe I can help/inform you. On our site you can find more information. In our cages we have a lot of shelters and the China's can climb aswell. The size is length 125x depth 60x hight 45 cm. There are enough burroughs.
