my leo eats 12 mealies each night. what i want to know is, how often can superworms be fed? can they be fed instead of mealies?

I feed mine superworms everyday, well I attempt to feed, sometimes they are just full! But I'm pretty sure that they are overall a little better than mealies for the leos that arge large enough to eat them. Superworms are larger, so there is a larger ratio of edible parts than non such as the chiten (sp?) If that makes sense! LoL, I feed both because I have different sizes of leos around the room, so I always have both on hand. But overall I like supers better. Easier to maintain, no refrigidating and they are bigger and juicier. Mmmm super worms. Okay I think I'm taking a nap already, I'm rambling! Bye!

I have never fed superworms either. I was told I had to cut the heads off is that true?

Nah. The leos will munch them dead. Man I am making my self sound pretty stupid today, lol. Your leos will eat them, heads and all!
