"show offs"?

Do any of you know whether you could use those "show off" bins that you can buy from wal-mart? i believe their made by sterilite. I was thinking of putting a 1.2 or 1.3 of mice in each one of them. Would this work?

I found these to be perfect mouse bins. I'd remove the center part of the lid, hot-glue 1/4 inch hardware cloth onto it (onto the under-side, so that the mice did not chew on the cut edge of the lid), and I'd drill holes for a flat-back water bottle (one for the nozzle and one for the bolt that secures the clip.) Then I'd attach the water bottle on the outside with just the nozzle inserted into the cage and there wasn't anything for the mice to chew on.

I liked that these were tall (hoppers didn't escape readily), relatively see-through, and very easily cleaned. I also liked the snap-on lid. I didn't keep 1.3 in there if I was growing out the litters, as the floor space is limited, otherwise I found them to suit my needs perfectly.

Hope this helps?
