My BurmXRock weighs 1408g (approx. 3 lbs) and measures just under 5 feet. From what I've researched, the length sounds normal but he seems really thin for 5 ft. (S)he (not been probed yet) is almost 5 months old. I know gender plays a role as well.
Im feeding him alot to get him big, but I also want to avoid putting a strain on his internal organs by having to digest more than its meant to, not to mention obesity and associated health problems.
Im feeding him a large rat or equivalent every 5 days. The prey item is definitly larger than the widest girth of his body. Im considering significantly increasing his intake. Is it safe to do this to get him larger without compromising his health?
