That is a georgeous snake. I'm just parcial to the green coloration and temperment. I wish mine would shed because she's such a b@#ch when she sheds.

more yellows are for sale because more people are captive breeding and they are smaller so more people are able to work with them and still have that word "anaconda" when they say what snakes they have lol...as far as temperment...they are about the same..ive delt with both..actually a kid i know that bought 2 cb yellows the day he offered me 300 for my cb green and i refused has told me they still have not calmed down and my green is super tame now after some work. i dont see much difference in overall temperment though...both usually take work to get them good and some will never get easy to handle.

Let me add my 2cents on this, When I first started with anacondas I jumped in blind and bought a breeding pair at a swap meet. Dumb move!! they were killers. She had her babies and I kept one and quickly sold the pair for real cheap. The young female that I kept was a little fire cracker. As time went on and she got older she has become VERY nice. I didnt try to force her into being that way it just happend. I made a large play gym in there room so they can get exersize ( idea from dfr). While cleaning out there cages I turned around and she was reaching out to see what I was doing. I placed my hand on the branch and she climbed up onto my arm around my neck and back on the branch. I was shocked!, Till that point I believed that dfr had some kind of freak anacondas that were differant from every other anaconda. I was wrong, realy wrong. The number one rule with anacondas is, Its on there terms only. My little girl is now 2 years old and as nice as any other of my snakes, a big baby. There is to much of a steriotype when it come to anacondas, being nasty bitty snakes. When it realy comes down to the experience of the keeper and the pactence that he/she has. The snakes temperment is what you make it, and that is true even when it comes Ball pythons and Redtails. I love anacondas over all other snakes and every penny and second that I spent working with my baby was and is worth it. Every time I reach into her cage and she comes out of her hide box and runs up my arm I giggle my butt of, Thinking to myself of how some people can lable these snakes NASTY.-- this has been my experience with anacondas---Eric---
