This guy just gets better with time and he appears to be in the early stages of going blue. After he sheds I'll post another one of him. Hopefully he will do his thing this fall also! This guy is from Brenden at BCI By Design!

OK, I know this is going to cause another war in this forum. But can someone PLEASE tell me what makes that particular animal a "harlequin" boa? That animal looks NO different from any other nice looking normal/wild type boa. This has been a sour subject in here for a long time and I do expect to get blasted for saying this. Still, it is a nice snake.

Joe, Thanks for the info. It basically cemented what I already knew; the boa in question, based on the information provided by you, although a very nice looking animal, is most likely not a harlequin.
Please understand that my intent is not to insult anyone. I just have a hard time with so many people being so quick to jump on the morph bandwagon without first knowing exactly what traits constitute the morph they are claiming they have. Can't people just be happy that they have a nice looking snake?

but IMO, there is no 'set ways' of you being able to determine and say that the boa in question is 'most likely not harlequin'.
Please see here as well - just recently opened..
