Obtaining an Endangered species Permit

ta40ta Apr 11, 2004 02:39 PM

I am interested in obtaining a permit to keep certain endangered species of box turtles. Any ideas on what I need or where to start the process. Help is appreciated.
Thanks

(800)358-2104. I don't know the staus on the species you wish to work with, but if any CITES permits are required, the Office of Management Authority (USFWS) can tell you. If the species are only locally protected, then check with your state wildlife agency.

Good luck!
Jay
