Like many other days, my tokays woke me up by barking in the morning. This was ok but about 15 minutes later they let out more barks. And more, and more, and more. Its been 5 hours and they bark something like every 20-30 minutes. I have never heard them bark this much and this often. Earlier today I saw one of them sitting on their hollow tree. Then the other came out, let out the normal TO-KAY (5-8 barks) and the other one retreated into the log and he took his spot. Is this some kind of communication they have? I'm pretty sure they're both males (picture below) but they get along very well. I have seen them sitting right next to each other and often times even on top of each other just basking. Anyway if somebody could verify the sexes and give me insight on this it would be appreciated.
