Cheap, easy to come by lizzies, and geckos

Buddy25 Apr 11, 2004 06:15 PM

Hey all,
It's spring time and it's soon time to say farewell to four of my beloveds(My three rescue baby snappers, and rescue garter).

And, once I get rid of the four I'll be left down to only 7 pets(Amphibians/my birdies), thats a small number, lol! I'll have no more reptiles! OH NO, so I need to stock back up...hahahaha.

What are some species of cheap, and easy to come by lizards or geckos?

I'm thinking about a green anole,or house gecko(... which leads me to another question... what do you guys think are the better reptile?)

Thanks, for your guys help. I may just get a baby green treefrog, cause I think there awfully cute, and great herps!

Thanks for your time,
Steven

curly tails, anolis and house geckos would work. Also long tailed grass lizards.

Easy to take care of.

well their is 2 ways of looking at wich of the 2 is better.for easier maintenance would be the house geckos as anoles can sometimes be hard to setup.for breeding both are well suited for this aspect.anoles are better display lizards though adn even have a commercialy made diet for them.here are some other less expensive lizards that may be more than anoles and house gecks but are also good candidates for what you want.
curly tails
longtail grass lizards
fence lizards
bibrons geckos
brown anoles(some say they are hardier than the greens)
side blotched lizards
this is a small list but i hope it helps
