My gecko stopped eating!

TAloha19 Apr 11, 2004 06:17 PM

I have a 5 month old leo who is fed a staple diet of mealworms. They are all dusted with vitamins and calcium and she has a small dish of calcium in her cage. She is usually a very hearty eater. Eating maybe 7 a night. Well, Friday night she only at two, and last night she only ate one. Those were all hand fed as I had noticed she wasn't getting them out of her dish.

Any advice on why she isn't eating?

First, does she poop ? If not, maybe the mealies chitin have cause some impaction. Second, try to give her crix, she can be tired of eating mealies. just my 2 cents...
