For a while i was keeping our 2 breeder mice in our walk in closet with our turtle, but since it was to hot in there i moved then into the top of our bathroom closet that just has soaps, shampoos, and odds and ends ( stuff that will not get stinky from mouse smell)... but any ways ... my fiance came out and was like there is a mouse in the top of the closet in the bathroom and acting all scared like .. i about laughed my butt off .. i brought out the container with the mice in it and showed him what was making the munching sound .. *LOL*

He doesn't like mice very much.. so he was flipping out when i was picking up the mice and playing with them.. * sighs* i am so amazed that he is letting me keep them *lol* But as long as he dosen't see them and they don't get out he's fine *lol*

Had something like this happen, well maybe not at all like it but still an interesting event. About two weeks ago I noticed a hole was chewed into the bottom of the green garbage bag I kept all the old bedding and thought maybe I accidently tossed in a hopper in with the bedding without noticing. So, I set a live mouse trap near where the bag was (after I of course taped up the hole and move the bag where a mouse can't reach easily). A couple days later I found a mouse in my trap and it was no excaped hopper, it was a wild deer mouse. I found this funny, considering I have had fancy mice escape before, though I typically found them within a day and the one mouse I didn't notice 'escape' turned out not to be an escapee at all but an intruder

I wonder if the out side mice are attracted once they smell other rodents with in the house expecially mice.
