I'm looking to soon get a male common boa and I was just wondering why most of the adults i have seen are so dark with duller colors. I really like the rich colors of the young and have seen a few adults with these light bodies with deep red tales. I am looking to get just a normal and not a morph. Are these some kind of morphs or are some just more gravid as adults than others. Do all common boa adults get this dark?
