my tremper tangerine albino just layed her second egg the secand day after the first and its 2/3 the size of the first one and isnt an oval. its more like a funny round triangle. does this egg stand a chance? please help!!

It sounds like a dud. I've had this happen before with my leos and the little eggs never seem to be fertile. I usually go ahead and throw them in the incubator just in case (hope springs eternal). If you can, put it in a separate container in the incubator since it will likely end up molding.

thats not always the case...but I agree, 90% of the time the fertile eggs will look the same, and healthy.
But you never know, incubate it anyway. I had a female that I purchased last year lay me 3 infertile clutches since she was gravid when I got her....and she just recently laid her last clutch, and they are the tiniest eggs Ive ever seen. I almost threw them out, but one turned out to be fertile afterall.
So you never know, just incubate and hope for the best
