Autopsy identification....

Can anyone help with identifacation of the internal organs? I lost "Spot" (my adult male Saharan) this morning. He showed no signs of any sickness. 13", 288grms. approx 3yrs.young. He had developed a quarter sized had mass in his belly close to his diaphram within 2 months. It was not an impaction. As grusome as it was, I needed to find out. I did take pics...but I would prefer not to post them publicly. If your familar with them internally I could send you more info and pics. Right now, I'm assuming it was a tumor. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss! It is most disheartening to lose anything, but it is more difficult when you don't know why. I am not qualified to identify the cause, but I did find a page of general lizard anatomy that may?? help you. Good luck!

This is oftain a cause for tumers in animals that normaly dont have a high protein diet. most animals that need high protein, only need it parts of the year, lets say egg production time will often coinside with a bloum of plants and insects (spring)afterwords they go back to a less rich diet. it may be possible that a sustained protein diet is detrimental to captive uromastyx?
food for tots!
