a while back i posted about a recue beardie i took in,some toes were missings and some nails never grew back and he had one hell of attitude problem, well after months of the Ex bothering me for him i finally gave in,hes been with her quite some time and she takes him out about every other day with no problems.

then i come over..lol , seems to be he thinks i had something to do with this abuse and he was hanging out on the bed i went to hold him and he snapped at me and pushed his beard out, boy these suckers can hold a grudge lol.

he took off and i had to grab him and i think he hates me even more cause i put him back in his tank , short story being i guess they have a good memory for people cause he placed me with being neglected,hes a little sketchy with the Ex but nothing like when i went to hold him lol.

My beardie, now 2 years old, has no tail, and is missing fingers. Cannabilized. Poor thing. And she used to be afraid of me. NOW all she wants to go get held and loves being kissed on the bearded area. She crawls up to my face and will lay on my lips for her daily requirement of love and kisses. If she doesn't get it she gets mad--turns black and pouts.

She won't let me talk on the phone--she gets jealous. She will attack the phone and has even jumped on the receiver hanging up on people. If that doesn't work she will simply lay on my mouth and try to put her arm into my mouth.

She will not let me pick up or talk to any other pet or she will go into a jealous rage--turn black and even bang against the glass. So I have to do it in secret (when she's in another room).

Beardies have huge capacities for love. Talk to her everyday and eventually she will bond with you and that's forever. I love my beardie very very very much...she's a sweetheart
