Keith, I took some pic's of that Randolph County, NC King I emailed you about - but they suck because they are indoors with bad lighting.

I am in Maryland - as soon as the weather clears here I am gonna email you some nice pics of that snake. It has a very unique pattern and I have a nice 4 mega pixel camera.

As far as the gravid Eastern: SHE IS HUGE. Her body looks like I filled her with a bicycle pump. She refused chow last night - and she has never done that before. When I first got her from Brad in January she would eat 8 (yes 8) mice at a time.

As soon as she lays I will post pics.
By the way, do you know where he got those snakes? I know that they are sib's and one of the parents was from Hartford County which is just North of Baltimore (it is the county that Aberdeen Proving Grounds resides in) and the other parent was from Howard County (one county west of Baltimore). So the counties are probably about 40 miles from each other. That is all I know - and that she laid 9 eggs last year - I don't think she laid a second clutch.

I paid $200 for the pair and I am glad that is all he asked because I meant to HAVE these snakes !!!

I dont know which MD's you have. Brad had an adult pair he got from some guy in MD but he didnt have any specific info on them as far as county info. Then there is the pair I sold him and they were 2002 hatch so if they bred last year I would be a bit shocked mainly because those snakes were only 26" or so when I sent them to him in early 2003. Below is a pic of the one I thought you had thats not from me.

Keith, that pic is not showing up - at least when I checked it.

The two snakes I bought from Brad - and bred this year - are the same two that you have on your site listed as "Maryland locality" and attribute to Brad Bauserman.

He told me that they are Hartford/ Howard County locale animals.

Peter

Those arent the Harford/Howard Co. animals I sold Brad. The ones I sent him are the ones listed as such on that same page (top row) and wouldnt be any bigger than 36" max. as they are only 2002 hatch. The ones I think you have are those that Brad wasnt sure of on the locality but he knew they were MD's just no exact County info. He may have found out since Ive talked to him though but either way they are MD's.
