Two different types of reverse okeetee....

Spardawolf Apr 12, 2004 09:30 AM

I just thought the differences in these two was interesting.
The female in the first pic is from Don at SMR. I like her coloring much better. She is much lighter than the male.
What do you all think?

he is more colorful. His bands aren't as nice either. He is really bright though.
(sorry about the line in the pic, when I size them sometimes this happens. don't know what it is)

Though I don't like the lighter colored ones as much, I prefer the cleaner colors which the SMR one seems to have. How old is this one? I got one from Don also, and am eager to see how much color she develops.

Here she is:

Thanks

He called her a "light reverse okeetee". I like her better also. I am interested to see if she changes alot more. When I first got her, you could hardly see the faint orange in the backround, she almost looked candy caneish. You have a pretty one there also. I really like the ziggy thing on her. Of course I am partial to the zig zag/aztec corns.

I got mine from Don during his free shipping sale, though I paid a little extra for her to qualify for it. In paying extra ($60), I asked to have one that would be a higher end animal, and to have one that would have a very even ground coloring. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this girl. It's still too early to tell how she'll turn out. I'm glad you like her zig-zagging; I'm not too crazy about it, though I do think it's unique (as in not having hard edges like some aztecs). Please show updates of your's when you can. Thanks!
