These are the first two to hatch or at least fully leave the egg. There were two eggs that pipped on Monday so I cut escape hatches in the rest and most hung out until today when 4 decide to leave the egg. There are 4-5 more that still want to hang out longer. I bet they leave under cover of darkness tonight though. One of them is a massive runt weighing only 18 grams compared to 50 grams for the other few that are out. Then there is one with a deformed "humphead". I have seen these before with scrubs but not as badly deformed as this one. With the others we've had, they actaully outgrew it and developed perectly normal heads. Perhaps it is due to how hard they push when trying to pip the egg! I'll get a pic of that freak for you guys soon.
