Not sure whos brilliant marketing idea that was! If this is supposed to make of the bulk of a monitors diet, then those cans should be more like 10xs that size! Hahahaha! The things that people will try to sell...
That stuff has been around for awhile. It has never proven itself as being good to me.
The price is not as cheap as the product either.
Why would you say it is easier??? To me it is not hard to order a bunch of frozen rodents, chicks, etc. have them on hand in my freezer. Thaw and feed off at my discretion.
At that price for that quantity, you would go broke trying to feed a large monitor with that food.
I used that stuff back when it first came out. Large monitors needed more of it than one can could provide. Small monitors did not eat enough of it to justify having it. The stuff turned moldy in the fridge before I could use it all, or rock hard in their enclosures and they ignored it after that.
Rodents bought in bulk will be cheaper. I can take out a package of rodents in the morning before work and feed them in the afternoon when I get home, or take them out before bed and feed in the morning.
