Geraniums non-toxic?

I just inherited a geranium. It was ill-cared for before I got it, so it has gotten really "leggy". This makes it the perfect jungle gym for my little corn. According to everything I have seen, geraniums are non-toxic for reptiles, but the fact that they have such a pungent odor makes me a little suspicious - I just thought I'd double check. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks!
