At an old junk store I just picked up a huge 29 gallon high aquaruim for my crestie i'm getting. It was just a whopping 15.00!!! All i kneed know is the vines and things, a lid, and a light fixture!!! sweet huh?? also, I would like to see some pics of your crested setups thank you.

i mean the flourescent lights. Because even a 15 watt incandescent can bring the air temp up to like 100 degrees just 2 inches from the bulb.

this light uses the regular bulbs u use in ur home but just the "T" type ones I am going to try a small watt bulb and see what happens. how long can a cresy survie when its like 66-70 in the house??? thanks I am hoping to get my crestie from Mr. DeMeyer this coming month.

i keep mine at room temperature all of the time. i haven't had one die yet.

temps over 80 can be fatal to cresties, watch out.
