Hello Everyone.
I'm looking forward to my trip to New Orleans next week.
I'm going to check out the bayou for herps and hopefully get some pics. Doesn't the alligator breeding season start around this month. It would be great to hear the mating calls. OK well anyway, I actually have a question. One, for those from the area or have visited. What is the best area outside of N. O. to see gators and other herps.(Natural site that is,not a pet store) Thanks.

I also plan on eating catfish till I'm sick of it.

I'll be in Tavares, Florida & Sanibel Island, Florida at the end of April. Anyone know of good herping in those areas?
