butterworm questions...

lele Apr 12, 2004 05:35 PM

Luna is still driving me nuts with her hunger strike (back to repta-aid) so I got some more waxworms, which she has NEVER refused before and butterworms for the first time. Well guess what - she won't eat either! UGH!

This is my first butterworm order and I am wondering two things:
**do I have to keep the lid off in the fridge or can I use one with holes?

**if I leave a couple in her feeding cup over night in her cage is that OK?

I tend not to leave anything in except occasionally crix (only in cup) b/c I can leave food in the cup for them as well. Can the butterworms climb well? Will it be too dry?

thanks,
lele
