I was in my local pet shop and they said gtps bite a lot. I've read that biaks tend to be agressive, but mostly it seems that it depends on the individual animal. So do gtps bite a lot or what?

Well let's see........today, I had 4 of my adults out showing my girlfriend, and NONE of them offered to even hiss. I think it depends on the individual chondro in question. Of the 14 chondros I have, only 3 of them give me any trouble. Even my WC adults are pretty calm. Don't let the myths of nasty chondros keep you from owning any. These are fascinating animals, and even the nasty ones are a joy to keep.

I would bet some of your tame ones show a good nightly feeding response which may be interpreted by the less experienced as being a "biter".
