How to distinguish older pastels from hi yellow/golds?

I understand some pastels may lose the vibrant color as they mature. Can someone tell me how to distinguish an older pastel that may have lost it's bright colors? I'm not sure what other traits distinguish this morph. Thanks

The animal should have a white patternless belly, white lips, and the upper part of the eye should be yellow.
