Pics of babies from Ghost x Hog litter...........>>

LindaH Apr 12, 2004 09:16 PM

These babies were born last month. My Hog female, the ever-Luzcious Mz Peach and the ever-studly Mr Hershey are the parents. These pics are not the best. I struggled with the flash and they came out sort of bright. I love the coloring on these little ones. They are very, very orange and peachy looking.

You can see more of them at my KS photo album at:

I still say that combination will make the best ghost boas ever. BTW, can I see a picture of that hot little striper ghost that I want?

GREAT JOB LINDA,

I'm sad you didn't call me to let me know. Booo hoo. lol. Anyway, Those babies you are producing are quite amazing. Sounds like the water you give them is the best drinking water around. Best of luck with your snakes. Hope your mom is doing well. Drop me a line or a buzz sometime. Take Care, Jeremy

I like my little "Ghoggys" more and more every day. For the most part, they are very clean (like their parents) and the coloring - I love! I hear that they will color up even more as time progresses, due to the Hog influence. It will be fun watching them grow. Someday soon, I hope to get some macro shots of their eyes. They have some really weird spiderweb markings all around the eyes. It looks sort of like big penciled in eyelashes!!

I have a pair of het albinos but I havent been in the boa forum for some time now. The last time I was here there was an issue with people crossing and especially an issue with crossing hoggs, my question is why is Linda getting praises for doing it?

JohnLokken Apr 13, 2004 11:41 AM

I say we all ignore her every time she posts and take all her animals away from her!!! Dibs on the hypo hoggs that are het for anery!!! LOL!
Just chill. If you don't like "crosses" fine. Even though Hoggs are condsidered BCI's. Hmmm.....Don't want to start that arguement up again. LOL!

Hi Rich and John.......

I put them *all* on the KS photo album. She had eleven hypos-het and 4 normals-het Anery. I will get pics of the normals soon, because I think they are pretty as well. They have a lot of oranges and gold in their markings.

All the little hypos are really very clean, which was such a pleasant surprise. However, Mz Peach is a very clean Hog and of course, Mr Hershey, is from Bill Kirby's marvelous line of beautiful, clean animals. That said, I'm still surprised at how clean they turned out. There are only 3 that have a minimal amount of speckling on the upper body.

LindaH Apr 13, 2004 10:19 AM

Ms Peach originally came from Dave Derrick. I bought her from someone else and then found out she was originally one of his babies. I have another one of his females that is very clean as well. I searched high and low for females with reduced pattern and speckling.....and finally found these two. I don't know how big a part that played in the appearance of the offspring. I can only assume it was a factor.

Well they all look great! How many litters is that for you so far this season?

Very nice hypos. I am glad to see Mr. Hershey be so prolific in your hands.

He's quite a little studmuffin!! He really seemed to love Ms Peach.....but then she's a very sexy gal! I am looking forward to seeing what his boys produce next year.

I will get pics of the normals soon. They each have a different base color, but all have orange-goldish markings and saddles.

I'm trying to get pics of all the Ghostlings right now and that is quite a task, especially for the photo-challenged like me

beautiful looking animals Linda. Very pretty indeed. Right now I can only dream of producing high quality boas like that as I wait for my animals to mature to breeding age and size.
