I took all my snakes out of hibornation about 4 weeks ago and all of the kings have shed already, i have heard that snakes are ready to breed after they shed. i fed them 2 days ago and put the male into the females cage and they just looked at eachother a little bit and then she took off zooming around the cage and he kinda followed her a little but not much. the female grayband is about 3 feet, and I mesured the males skin and he is about 26 in. long, is he big enuff to be mature? I also have a nother cal king that is a female that im going to try to breed with the male high white if she is big enuff, and she is about 22 to 24 in. long. i have also heard that cal kings can be mature at 18 in. long is this true or are my cal kings just to small still. thanks for and any info.

Be careful that your cal king does not eat your greyband.

Most crossings require at least a male and female of "each" species to get them aroused and then you can trick them by switching before they do their dirty deed.
